Marche Regional Authority, as EUSAIR StEP project Lead Partner, is pleased to share with you the invitation, on behalf of Interact, to upcoming workshop, “Cooperation Actions: Shared Knowledge Towards Greater Impact" that will take place on 5–6 June 2025 in Arnhem, the Netherlands. It is organised by Interact, in close cooperation with the provinces of Gelderland and Overijssel, and builds on the success of the first edition held in Palermo in 2024.
The 2021–2027 programming period has significantly expanded the scope for cooperation across regions. Article 22(3)(d)(vi) of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 now requires the inclusion of cooperation actions under each specific objective of Investment for Jobs and Growth (IJG) programmes. This has created new opportunities – but also challenges – that deserve attention as the regional programmes are undergoing the mid-term review and begin preparing for the post-2027 period.
The workshop will look at key elements for building successful cooperation actions, including practical tools for planning and implementation, and mechanisms to support partnerships. It will also explore barriers that persist in setting up cooperation and share concrete examples from programmes already putting such actions into practice. This year’s edition will also introduce how analytical tools, including AI, can support cooperation initiatives, and will offer a possibility to learn more about the work of the regional ERDF East Netherlands Managing Authority.
