"The Marche Region, together with Marche Chamber of Commerce, the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce (Forum AIC) and the Marche Polytechnic University, invite you to the EUSAIR Workshop on the DO-AIR Data Observatory of the Adriatic and Ionian Region, scheduled for 28th April, from 09:30-11:00 (CET).
Launched in December 2024 through the collaboration between the Marche Region and the Chamber of Commerce of the Marche Region, with the support of the Forum AIC and the scientific contribution of the Marche Polytechnic University, DO-AIR aims to provide a shared and structured data framework for the Adriatic-Ionian Macroregion. The initiative supports the development of evidence-based policies and contributes to strengthening macro-regional cooperation.
The first DO-AIR Annual Report (2025) has already provided a comprehensive overview of the main economic, demographic, and infrastructural trends in the Region. Building on this, updated data and further analytical developments will be presented at the upcoming EUSAIR Forum in Skopje.
The strategic relevance of DO-AIR has also been recognised at the macro-regional level, including its acknowledgement as a best practice in the Crete Declaration, in support of the implementation of the EUSAIR Strategy.
