The upcoming event, "Unlocking Opportunities for Post-2027 Europe: EUSAIR, Interreg, and Cohesion Policy in Joint Action," organized by the Hellenic Presidency of the EUSAIR (General Secretariat of PA -Ministry of Economy & Finance) and the MA of Interreg 2021-2027 will concentrate on the survey results carried out by different Authorities and Organizations at national, macroregional and European level, in order to draw recommendations and proposals on how to shape the future of Europe post 2027. The Conference will address the critical question of how to enhance synergies among European Union funding mechanisms, territorial frameworks, and policies to drive sustainable regional development post-2027, keeping & promoting Cohesion Policy in the center of a prosperous and cohesive Europe, while exploring innovative collaboration among EU Macro-Regional Strategies (MRS) and Interreg programmes.

The event aims to:

  1. Present and analyze the results of the surveys on the post 2027 Europe’s future.
  2. Discuss the role of EUSAIR and other MRS in shaping long-term territorial visions.
  3. Identify pathways to enhance collaboration between MRS and Interreg programmes.
  4. Explore mechanisms for aligning EU funding streams with regional needs and policies.
  5. Promote capacity building and knowledge transfer among stakeholders.
